A sander, in it's most basic form, is a power tool used for smoothing, polishing, or cleaning surfaces using abrasive materials. The most common types of power sanders are disk, belt, and orbital sanders.
Sandpaper is attached to a power sander and motors within the sander move the sandpaper rapidly to do the work quickly and with the least amount of effort. Sanders may be powered by electricity or compressed air.
Our Würth Baer Machinery selection of Industrial sanders include Belt sanders, Brush & Disc Sanders, Profile & Moulding Sanders, Stroke & Edge Sanders, Wide Belt Sanders, and even Robotic Sanders that sense the board to be sanded automatically and sands the surface with no human intervention.
