An Edgebander is a machine that automatically applies hot-melt adhesive and a thin strip of decorative material to a board’s unfinished edge to reinforce it and give it a durable and finished look.
Edgebanding material which is usually PVC edgeband or wood veneer edgeband comes in a roll and is loaded into the edgebander machine. Then, a board is fed from one end into the machine and the machine glues the edgeband material to the unfinished edge of the board.
