The Multitech Plus two features two 21 spindle heads for line system hole boring plus a range of other features which increase its versatility.
VERTICAL BORING HEADS
The boring heads are positioned along recirculating ball screws with lead nuts. There are decimal indicators accurate to within 0.1 millimeter for each head. Two pneumatic hold downs can be manually positioned to securely hold the workpiece. The boring heads are made from a special aluminum alloy. This alloy allows the head, including the bearing housing, to be made entirely in one piece. This design provides as much as five times the precision of heads made from multiple components.
HORIZONTAL BORING HEAD
The horizontal boring head is equipped with 21 spindles and the drilling cycle is independent from the vertical heads. Drilling height is manually adjustable and features a mechanical digital readout.
