A 5HP motor and outstanding 20" capacity keeps the Powermatic 209 performing its very best. Its strong cutterhead can do 20,000 cuts. For amazing finish, the sander is equipped with pressure bar and kickback fingers which are engineered close to the cutterhead. The Powermatic 209 is also convenient to use even when utilized for large projects. It comes with a stronger table, base and head so it won?t break down. In fact, the table is supported by four strong columns. Its 2 speed gearbox also maintains a a smooth planning operation. Additional features to keep the planer extremely handy for most jobs are:
