The E20 is a self-clamping connector compatible with all Lamello biscuit joiners, providing a reliable and efficient solution for woodworking. For surface connections using the E20-L, the two workpieces are positioned with their rear sides facing up. A Lamello groove is cut along both workpieces, so each has half of the groove. After applying adhesive to the edges, the workpieces are assembled. The E20-L is tapped into the 4 mm groove with a few hammer blows, allowing its lateral ribs to anchor securely into the groove sides. These angled ribs simultaneously clamp the workpieces together during insertion.

The E20-H variant is designed for edge milling, such as joining kitchen bases or carcasses. Installation follows the same process as the E20-L but involves milling in workpiece edges or miters. Both E20 variants are compatible with any groove cutter, making them versatile and essential tools for on-site assembly. Keeping a package of each in your toolbox ensures you have the perfect gluing aid when clamps or other tools are unavailable. With no waiting for glue to dry, assembled workpieces can be processed immediately.
