Crafted from sustainably sourced native beech wood, the biscuits are produced near the Bubendorf production site and undergo meticulous sorting and processing. Each biscuit's thickness is checked multiple times per hour during production to ensure precise fit. This precision allows the biscuit to fit snugly into a 4 mm groove without falling out, even when the workpiece is turned for assembly. Slightly raised guide rails reduce resistance during insertion, while the remaining surface is optimized for glue distribution.

As the adhesive dries, the biscuit swells in the glued area, further strengthening the joint.
