The Butterfly Spline is a beautiful solution for exposed joints. Two passes with this bit produce the concave butterfly spline from your choice of hardwood or softwood. Then use a 14-degree dovetail bit to (sold separately) to produce the mating grooves. For best results use in table-mounted or CNC routers.
